Engineering

Slicer Machine

I was involved in this project for 3 years, from a concept on a napkin to final assembly.  I designed thousands of custom parts and made thousands of blueprints. Oversaw quality control and assembly.

Engineering

Venturi Design

At Machflow Energy, I used Computational Fluid Dynamics to analyze and design a venturi system for a revolutionary air conditioning technology. I went through hundreds of iterations to optimize efficiency.

I first used Solidworks Flow Works to design airfoil geometry on the 1-3mm scale. I then ran thousands of simulations and machined the most efficient designs out of acrylic using both manual and CNC milling machines.

Engineering

Exhaust Enclosure

I worked as an independent free-lancer and designed this fume exhaust hood and safety enclosure to retroactively fit around an existing machine. The design had to be safe and efficient for the operator and was a great success.

Engineering

Kubota Cab

At Curtis Industries I led the design and manufacturing of an after-market cab enclosure for a Kubota tractor.

Engineering

Spacecraft Dynamics and Control

As a senior project to complete my aerospace minor, I needed to design a mission to launch a satellite into Low Earth Orbit with a high-performance telescopic camera as it's payload.

Permaculture

Charlton Edible Landscape

This was my first permaculture design for my childhood home in Charlton, MA. It incorporates a fruit forest, nut forest, water management, honey bees, chickens, kitchen garden, and more on a 1-acre suburban property.

Permaculture

Food Forest Farms

My most pressing passion is to begin implementing this design into my families 54-acre property in Central Maine.

This will be a generational homestead that is completely off-grid and sustainable in nature.
